Hisashiburiiii!!!
Our Japanese word for today is brought to you by the letter G (for guilt) and W (who cares). That means long time no see by the way. Better to do it in a high-pitched tone and remember to lengthen the iiiiiiii.
I'm still alive and no, I don't live in Niigata where the earthquake struck. I DID experience a slight vertigo while cooking scrambled eggs though. But on the whole, Me and Joaquin just continued whipping the eggs industriously (we like ours really fluffy) while O kept repeating "Babe, lumilindol" in an increasing falsetto.
I shall blog about my birthday week before Harry Potter dies on July 21. Right now, I'm off to make mascarpone and jam on toast before I pick up my little boy from kindergarten. TTFN!

I must confess
I'm almost numb to Japan's notoriously funny and confusing Engrish. Most of the time I don't even realize that it's mali, just like a few days ago when I saw graffiti on our elevator walls that boldly said:FUKET
And I'm like "Anubayan! Hope oyasan finds the culprit, tsk tsk tsk. Don't look Joaquin."
I get it without thinking twice which makes me embarrassingly proud until the patriotic part buried inside of me screams: ASSIMILATION THEY WILL GET YOU!
Maybe it's time to move.
