Things you can buy in Tokyo part 2

From the top of my head,

1.Latest fashions from cheap --> try Takeshita-dori, Uniqlo, Muji, Honeys, Odaiba shops to high-end --> Omotesando, Ginza, Mitsukoshi, Takashimaya. Cheap for me means Y3000 below. For rich teenagers who are not fat, there is Shibuya 109.

2. Costumes eg. Harajuku wear(Takeshita-dori, Spain Street in Shibuya)

3. Japanese snacks - Pocky, Fran --> just had one now yum, Crunky, Kitkat in seasonal flavors, all kinds of truffles, Royce (there's one in Mitsukoshi Ginza and Narita Airport terminal 1 departure area), Yokumoku, Marusei Butter sandwich --> although you're truly lucky if you find one, all kinds of senbei/ rice crackers.

4. Toys from handmade to high-tech to freaky - for these, go to Toys r'us in Odaiba or Kiddyland in Ginza or Omotesando. There are also little shops around the side streets of Daikanyama, Shibuya and Omotesando which you would have to discover yourself. Oh yeah, lots of toys for geeks and Japanophiles in Akihabara. If you're pressed for time just go to the Yodobashi flagship still in Akiba. There's a whole floor there filled with capsule machines, video games and manga/anime big-boobed figurines.

5. Home stuff and Furnitures - try Franc Franc, Muji (main one just outside Yurakucho sta. in Yamanote line), MOMA in Omotesando, Roppongi Midtown highest floor, Omotesando hills and of course Loft in Shibuya and Tokyu Hands in Times Square Shinjuku. There's also Ikea in Chiba.

6. Japan souvenirs - Oriental Bazaar in Omotesando-dori. Not exactly romantic or memorable but will do for gifts back home.

7. 100-yen shop in Takeshita-dori named Daiso.

Gambatte ne!

hey jo! where's part 1? =D

i think uniqlo just recently opened in london. they went on sale last christmas but it seems that when they're regularly priced here, parang mas mura pa ata bumili sa pinas! =(

Of course, it's always mas mura sa Pinas. Uniqlo is ok brand for basics and is really cheap when on sale. Here, every Sunday, they have sale. ;)
Part 1 is somewhere there but isn't very helpful so I made this. :)
